Impressions Not much to report today. I started the day with a breakfast buffet and then relaxed a lot. Once the rain had stopped, I went for a long walk on the beach. Not much else happened today. Tomorrow, with a bit of luck, we’ll continue with the best weather. Pictures Fast Matze Coke 😀 Frühstück im Trockenen Costs 0 Euro ferry 20 Euro breakfast buffet 60 Euro overnight stay (hostel only today) 12 Euro dinner 92 Euro Tageskosten ...

Impressions The evening and night at the campsite went differently than expected. At least I was able to do some laundry and charge my batteries. However, about 100 m away from my tent there was a big country party with music and square dancing. As a result, all the Swedes were partying into the night, dressed as cowboys, not far from my tent. Nevertheless, I was quite well rested this morning and was able to dry everything quickly without any problems and then set off on a short day’s stage with surprisingly little rain. My tent withstood the heavy rain without any problems. ...

Impressions Woke up this morning to pouring rain. Luckily everything stayed dry in my shelter. After the rain subsided, I set off at around 10am and was at the ferry to Helsingborg in no time at all. The weather was still moderate, but I didn’t spend much time there and set off straight onto the Kattegattleden (the name of the west coast cycle path). For lunch, I went to Höganäs and got a typically Swedish pizza at the kebab shop. ...

Impressions Another slow start this morning. It was cold and the day’s destination unclear. I took lots of breaks and relaxed. I rolled through Copenhagen at a leisurely pace, looked at a few things and drank a delicious coffee. Finding a place to sleep was a bit chaotic today. My original plan was to stay with someone from the warmshowers community. Unfortunately, both my requests were turned down. At the same time, I was invited by a Reddit user to his home in Copenhagen. However, that didn’t really work out, as I wanted to be as close as possible to the ferry to Sweden today. That’s why I ended up in a shelter near Nivå again. Strangely enough, all the shelters in this part of Denmark are chargeable or have to be booked. ...

Impressions This morning, after a night without a thunderstorm, I found it difficult to get out of the tent. It was suddenly cold, cloudy and windy. An hour later than yesterday, things went quite well again. It was extremely windy. The wind came mainly from the side, and sometimes even from behind, but the main thing was not from the front. Shortly after crossing the huge and old Storstrømsbroen bridge, I bumped into Joana and Christian. While chatting, we realized that we were heading for almost the same destination, so we decided to ride the remaining 70 km together. ...

Impressions Last night in the tent was surprisingly good. After a cup of coffee, I set off at a leisurely pace and then rode 50 km to the ferry to Lolland. I then had breakfast on the sun deck with the best view. After getting off the ferry, my good mood was dampened by a 30 km stretch with a disgusting headwind. Once I had managed this, I rewarded myself with a big pizza followed by a dip in the Baltic Sea. ...

Impressions Got off quite early today. When it’s light from just after 4, it doesn’t seem like it. With just a coffee for breakfast, I simply set off. On the way I ate the leftovers from yesterday and then somehow I was at the ferry in no time. The first 70 km went by like nothing. Just lots of new, beautiful impressions. So I finished my cycling day relatively early and went for a swim in the Baltic Sea in great weather. ...

Impressions Spent the whole day on the train today. Arrived despite an hour’s delay and a spontaneous track change. Then a leisurely roll to Steffen’s to spend a nice evening there. Then it’s off tomorrow! Pictures Noch in Karlsruhe Sleeping place With Steffen ...

The plan I’m going to cycle through Denmark, Sweden and Norway for a month. I want to wild camp and use the many beautiful shelter sites in the Scandinavian countries. My luggage should be as light as possible, but have everything I need for a month’s trip. month trip. Route The rough route plan, starting and ending in Flensburg, goes through the following cities: Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, Larvik, Hirtshals, Esbjerg I would like to cycle approx. 100 km a day. ...
