Impressions
I woke up this morning to pouring rain. Luckily, everything stayed dry inside my shelter.
After the rain let up, I set off around 10 a.m. and was at the ferry to Helsingborg in no time.
With the weather still iffy, I didn’t linger there for long and headed straight onto the Kattegattleden (that’s the name of the west coast bike path).
For lunch in Höganäs, I grabbed a pizza from the kebab place—typically Swedish.
My destination for the day is a campground in Ängelholm, where I plan to do some laundry and charge my devices. I’m writing this now in a large tent at the campground while it’s pouring rain outside. I hope my tent holds up. This is definitely a real test. Oh, and I had my first real shower since June 😀.
I’d originally planned a short leg for tomorrow so I could spend two nights at a hostel. But since the weather forecast has taken another turn for the worse, I’ll decide tomorrow morning how to proceed.
I’m hoping for a dry night (with clean cycling clothes and a fully charged power bank).
