Impressions

Got off to a slow start again this morning. It was cold, and I wasn’t sure where I was headed for the day.

I took plenty of breaks and just relaxed.

I rolled leisurely through Copenhagen, checked out a few sights, and had a delicious cup of coffee.

Finding a place to sleep was a bit chaotic today. My original plan was to stay with someone from the WarmShowers community. Unfortunately, both of my requests were turned down. At the same time, a Reddit user invited me to stay at their home in Copenhagen. That didn’t really work out, though, since I wanted to get as close as possible to the ferry to Sweden today. For that reason, I ended up back at a shelter near Nivå. Strangely enough, all shelter spots in this part of Denmark either cost money or require a reservation.

Well, sheltered from the rain, I’m now winding down the evening in my shelter. Unfortunately, the forecast for the next few days doesn’t look any better. But I have to find a place to stay for tomorrow anyway so I can charge my electronic devices and do my laundry. We’ll see how the next few days go.
